1. The Service
Assistant triages your email by removing spam, summarizing threads, and ranking messages by criticality; reminds you of important tasks and events; and monitors the services you connect — such as code commits, issue trackers, and chat tools — for items that need your immediate attention. Assistant learns from your feedback to handle your email the way you prefer.
2. Accounts and Google Sign-In
Assistant uses Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google credentials and for all activity that occurs through your account. You may disconnect Assistant from your Google account at any time in your Google account permissions settings.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Assistant for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights.
- Connect accounts or data you do not have the right to access.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to access it other than through its intended interfaces.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide Assistant to third parties as a service without our written permission.
4. AI-Generated Content
Summaries, rankings, reminders, and other output produced by Assistant are generated automatically and may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing important messages and decisions before acting on them. Assistant is a tool to support your attention, not a substitute for your judgment.
5. Intellectual Property
We retain all rights in the Assistant service and software. You retain all rights in your content. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and Changes
We work to keep Assistant available and reliable, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be communicated within the app or by email, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
7. Termination
You may stop using Assistant at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Assistant is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Babrains will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the service.
